Have you found the/a fragment(s)/piece(s) of your shattered youth
In your innocence what mattered was the truth
Now your faith is torn/bruised and tattered/battered by/with abuse
Your soul('s/has been) splattered ((all over)/((on) the walls)) in/of the confessional booth

Repent and thou/you shalt/may/might be forgiven
Repent and you/we may (still) save your soul
Repent just as it was written
Repent (now) you must do as you're told

They may exonerate you
They might emancipate you
They could recongregate you
They will commemorate you
Or they may/'ll excommunicate you

You must repent
Your time was spent
Your path was bent
But now is/they've sent
Something/one to guide you
Something/one to help you through

Have you seen the light shining all around you
To burn away the darkness that has found you
Now your life has changed your belief surrounds you
To confront the evil (that) always hound(ing)(s)/confounds you
